Sony Xperia 10 III's body is newer, somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter than Moto G9 Plus.

The Moto G9 Plus's processing unit is just as good as the processor in Xperia 10 III, and although the Moto G9 Plus has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia 10 III has just a bit better screen than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater screen density and a quite better 1080 x 2520 resolution.
