Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is slightly better than Xperia 10 III, having a overall score of 87 against 83.7. Both of these devices come with the same Android 11 OS. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Galaxy A42 is an a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier phone than the Xperia 10 III.
Xperia 10 III features a sharper display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater pixel number per inch of screen and a much higher 1080 x 2520px resolution. Galaxy A42 features a processor that's very similar to the Xperia 10 III one, and although the Galaxy A42 has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Xperia 10 III has a slightly bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia 10 III also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1 TB. The Galaxy A42 captures much better videos and photos than Sony Xperia 10 III, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same (4K) video definition and a same size aperture, the Galaxy A42 also has a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
Samsung Galaxy A42 features a bit longer battery life than Xperia 10 III, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4500mAh.
