The Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is just a bit better than the Xperia 10 III's 83.7 overall score. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M40 has older 10 version and Xperia 10 III has Android 11. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy M40 is older than Xperia 10 III, it's design is just a little thinner and just a bit lighter.
Samsung Galaxy M40 and Sony Xperia 10 III both feature similar CPUs, both have 6 GB of RAM and 8 processing cores. The Sony Xperia 10 III counts with a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater screen pixel density and a quite better 1080 x 2520 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 features a superior camera than Sony Xperia 10 III, and although they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a camera with lot more mega pixels and a larger aperture to capture better low-light photography.
