Comparison review
The Xperia 10 III has a general score of 83.7, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's score of 77.5. Although Xperia 10 III is just a little thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, it's somewhat lighter and also much newer. The Sony Xperia 10 III features a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 10 III also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Sony Xperia 10 III has just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2520 resolution and a higher quantity of pixels per screen inch. The Sony Xperia 10 III has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia 10 III also has a bigger aperture to capture better photos and videos in low light situations and a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Sony Xperia 10 III counts with a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia 10 III also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features greater battery life than Xperia 10 III, because it has a 5300mAh battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
