Huawei Mate 8 has a score of 77.4, which is slightly better than Xperia 10 Plus's 75.4 score. The Huawei Mate 8 design is just a little bit thinner than the Xperia 10 Plus, but it's a little heavier and was released 3 years before. The Xperia 10 Plus counts with a slightly better display than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a quite better 1080 x 2520 resolution, a quite higher display pixels density and a bit bigger display.
Huawei Mate 8 counts with slightly more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia 10 Plus, because although it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Sony Xperia 10 Plus. Both have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 CPU cores.
Sony Xperia 10 Plus has just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a way less mega pixels camera in the back, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a larger aperture to take better low light photos. The Huawei Mate 8 counts with greater battery duration than Xperia 10 Plus, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Sony Xperia 10 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia 10 Plus. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 8, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Sony Xperia 10 Plus, resigning a couple specs and features.
