Comparison review

The Galaxy J8 is slightly better than Xperia 10 Plus, getting a global score of 76.7 against 75.4. Although Galaxy J8 and Xperia 10 Plus were released with only a couple months difference, Galaxy J8 is a bit thinner and just a little lighter. Galaxy J8's processor is very similar to Xperia 10 Plus's processing unit, both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 cores.

Xperia 10 Plus features a much better looking display than Galaxy J8, because it has way more pixels per screen inch, a lot better 1080 x 2520px resolution and a bit larger screen. The Sony Xperia 10 Plus has a bit bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy J8, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia 10 Plus also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 512 GB.

Xperia 10 Plus captures clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a much less mega pixels resolution camera and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same camera sensor size, the Xperia 10 Plus also counts with a much higher video resolution.

The Galaxy J8 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 10 Plus, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
