Comparison review

Sony Xperia 1 has a global score of 82.6, which is just a bit better than the Xperia 10 Plus's global score of 75.4. Sony Xperia 1 is a just a little thinner and a little bit lighter cellphone than the Xperia 10 Plus, although they were released with only 3 months difference. The Sony Xperia 1 has a much better looking screen than Xperia 10 Plus, and although they both have a same size display, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a way greater display pixel density and a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840.

Xperia 1 features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia 10 Plus, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB, the Xperia 1 also has 128 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia 1 counts with a bit better processing power than Xperia 10 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 1 also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Xperia 1 counts with a bit longer battery performance than Xperia 10 Plus, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh. Xperia 1 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Xperia 10 Plus, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same resolution back-facing camera and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia 1 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality pictures and a bigger diafragm aperture for better photography in poorly lited situations.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xperia 10 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia 10 Plus. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xperia 1, else you can save some money and get the Xperia 10 Plus, resigning some features and specs.
