Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is better than Xperia 10's 73.7 overall score. Even being the best cellphone in this comparison, we must tell that it's also older, somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker. Galaxy Note8 has a bit better hardware performance than Xperia 10, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note8 also has more RAM.
Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia 10, because it has a quite larger screen, a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a just a little higher display pixels density. Galaxy Note8 takes much better photos and videos than Xperia 10, because although it has a back camera with lesser MP and a worse 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a bigger aperture to take better low light images and video.
Xperia 10 features a little bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia 10 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit longer battery performance than Xperia 10, because it has a 15 percent larger battery size.
Galaxy Note8 costs more money than the Sony Xperia 10, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
