Sony Xperia 5 II has an overall score of 87.2, which is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 7's 83.9 global score. Even when the Sony Xperia 5 II and Asus ZenFone 7 were only released 1 months apart, the Sony Xperia 5 II is lighter and thinner. The Xperia 5 II and the Asus ZenFone 7 both have really similar CPUs, and although the Asus ZenFone 7 has less RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
Asus ZenFone 7 counts with a bit better screen than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a just a bit lower display pixel density, it also counts with a bit larger screen. The Asus ZenFone 7 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting pictures or videos in low light situations, and they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor, the Asus ZenFone 7 also counts with a back-facing camera with much more MP and a way higher 7680x4320 video quality.
Asus ZenFone 7 features a bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia 5 II, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenFone 7 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ZenFone 7 features improved battery lifetime than Xperia 5 II, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
