The Sony Xperia 5 II has an overall score of 87.2, which is a bit better than the Google Pixel 4's 81.9 general score. Sony Xperia 5 II's body is newer and just a little thinner than Google Pixel 4's, although it is also just a bit heavier. The Google Pixel 4 and Xperia 5 II have really similar screens, although the Google Pixel 4 has a little bit inferior pixels count in each inch in the screen, a little smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2280.

The Xperia 5 II and the Google Pixel 4 count with quite similar processing units, and although the Google Pixel 4 has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Sony Xperia 5 II has a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 4, because it has 64 GB more internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1000 GB.

The Xperia 5 II features a little bit better camera than Google Pixel 4, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a camera with a worse resolution, and they both have the same aperture, the Xperia 5 II also counts with a way larger sensor providing a much higher image quality.

Xperia 5 II features a much better battery performance than Google Pixel 4, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 4. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Sony Xperia 5 II, else you can save some money and get the Google Pixel 4, giving up a couple features and specs.
