Comparison review

Sony Xperia 5 II is a bit better than the Google Pixel 4 XL, having a general score of 87.2 against 82.9. Sony Xperia 5 II's construction is newer, just a little bit thinner and lighter than the Google Pixel 4 XL. The Google Pixel 4 XL's processing unit is just as good as Xperia 5 II's CPU, and although the Google Pixel 4 XL has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.

Google Pixel 4 XL has a little sharper screen than Xperia 5 II, because it has a quite bigger screen, a higher resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels and a little better pixels count in each screen inch. Xperia 5 II takes a bit better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a lower video quality and a worse 12 megapixels resolution back camera, and they both have the same aperture, the Xperia 5 II also counts with a much bigger camera sensor.

The Sony Xperia 5 II features a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. The Sony Xperia 5 II has a bit longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 4 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 4 XL. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Xperia 5 II, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 4 XL, letting go some specifications.
