Sony Xperia 5 II is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 20, getting a general score of 87.2 against 79.5. The Sony Xperia 5 II is a newer phone, and it's also lighter and a little bit thinner than the Huawei Mate 20. Sony Xperia 5 II features a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has more RAM.
The Huawei Mate 20 features just a bit better display than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution and a little worse amount of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little bigger screen. The Xperia 5 II has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Xperia 5 II also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1000 GB.
