Comparison review
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a score of 90.9, which is just a bit better than the Xperia 5 II's 87.2 overall score. Although it's the best phone in our current comparison, Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a thicker and notably heavier phone than Xperia 5 II. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a bit sharper screen than Xperia 5 II, because it has a little bit larger screen, a slightly higher 1334 x 2772px resolution and a just a bit more pixels per inch of display.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a bit faster processing unit than Sony Xperia 5 II. Both have 8 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. Xperia 5 II has a greater memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots much better videos and photos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for taking pictures and/or video in low-light environments and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a much bigger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photos and a camera with a much better 50 mega pixels resolution.
