Huawei P40 Pro has an overall score of 88.2, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia 5 II's global score of 87.2. Despite being the best phone we compare here, it must be told that it's also extremely heavier and somewhat thicker. The Huawei P40 Pro's CPU is very similar to the processing unit in Sony Xperia 5 II, both of them have 8 CPU cores and 8 GB of RAM memory.

The Huawei P40 Pro has a little better battery life than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has a 4200mAh battery size. Huawei P40 Pro captures better pictures and videos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has lower video frame rate and a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photographs and a much more mega-pixels camera.
