Xperia 5 II has a general score of 87.2, which is much better than LG G3's overall score of 76.4. The Xperia 5 II construction is newer and somewhat thinner than LG G3's, but it's also just a little bit heavier. Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a little bit better hardware performance than LG G3, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a higher number of cores and 5 GB more RAM.

The LG G3 counts with a much better looking screen than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a little bit greater pixel quantity per inch of display. The Xperia 5 II counts with a superior camera than LG G3, because although it has a back facing camera with a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution and a lower video definition, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a lot bigger aperture to capture better photos and videos in poorly lited situations.

Xperia 5 II features a very superior memory to install applications and games than LG G3, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB and 96 GB more internal storage capacity. Xperia 5 II features improved battery life than LG G3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia 5 II, else you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G3, letting go some features and specs.
