The Xperia 5 II has a global score of 87.2, which is much better than LG G5's 76.1 global score. The Xperia 5 II body is noticeably newer than LG G5's, although it's just a little heavier and a little thicker. LG G5 features a slightly better screen than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a just a bit better pixels density.
Xperia 5 II features much more memory to store more apps and games than LG G5, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The Sony Xperia 5 II has a little faster processing unit than LG G5, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores.
Xperia 5 II has a way better battery performance than LG G5, because it has a 43 percent bigger battery capacity. The Sony Xperia 5 II shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than LG G5, because although it has a way lower resolution back camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture and a way larger sensor capturing much better quality videos and photographs.
Sony Xperia 5 II costs a lot more than LG G5, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
