Comparison review
Xperia 5 II is much better than LG Q70, having a score of 87.2 against 77.9. Even when Xperia 5 II and the LG Q70 were released only a few months apart, Xperia 5 II is a bit thinner and somewhat lighter. The Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a little bit better processing power than LG Q70, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has 4 GB more RAM.
The Xperia 5 II has just a bit better looking screen than LG Q70, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2520px and a little better quantity of pixels per display inch. The LG Q70's camera is very similar to Xperia 5 II's camera, because although the LG Q70 has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking images and video in poorly lited environments, a lot tinier back-facing camera sensor which offers a much lower image and video quality and worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, it also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back camera.
Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a little bit more storage to store more games and applications than LG Q70, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that admits 1000 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The LG Q70's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery duration in Sony Xperia 5 II.
Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG Q70, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG Q70. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the LG Q70, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
