Comparison review
Xperia 5 II is a bit better than LG V40 ThinQ, getting an 87.2 score against 81.2. The Xperia 5 II construction is newer and just a bit lighter than LG V40 ThinQ's, but it is just a little bit thicker. The LG V40 ThinQ's CPU is very similar to Sony Xperia 5 II's CPU, and although the LG V40 ThinQ has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
LG V40 ThinQ counts with a little bit better screen than Xperia 5 II, because it has a little bit larger screen, a better resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a quite higher screen pixel density. Xperia 5 II counts with just a bit better camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same resolution back-facing camera, the Xperia 5 II also counts with better 120 fps video frame rate and a lot bigger back camera sensor.
Sony Xperia 5 II has a little bit more storage for applications and games than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Xperia 5 II counts with longer battery duration than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V40 ThinQ. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the LG V40 ThinQ, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
