The Xperia 5 II body is a lot newer than the Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition's, but it is somewhat heavier and notably thicker. Sony Xperia 5 II features a bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has more RAM.

The Sony Xperia 5 II has a way better battery duration than Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Sony Xperia 5 II costs a bit more money than the Moto Z2 Force Edition, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
