Xperia 5 II has a global score of 87.2, which is just a bit better than the Motorola One 5G's overall score of 84.6. Xperia 5 II is a thinner and a lot lighter phone than the Motorola One 5G, even when both were released only a couple of months apart. Xperia 5 II has a bit sharper display than Motorola One 5G, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels, the Xperia 5 II also counts with a just a bit greater number of pixels in each display inch.

Motorola One 5G's memory for games and applications is very similar to Xperia 5 II's one, both of them have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1000 GB and exactly the same internal memory capacity. The Xperia 5 II counts with a little faster processing unit than Motorola One 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 5 II also has a higher amount of RAM.

Motorola One 5G shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller sensor offering a lower image quality and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Motorola One 5G also counts with a lot higher 48 mega pixels resolution camera.

The Motorola One 5G features longer battery performance than Xperia 5 II, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola One 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola One 5G. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia 5 II, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Motorola One 5G, resigning a couple features and specs.
