Xperia 5 II is a just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter device than the OnePlus 8 Pro, even when they were released with only 6 months difference. OnePlus 8 Pro and Sony Xperia 5 II feature very similar processing units, both of them have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processing unit.

The OnePlus 8 Pro features a brighter screen than Xperia 5 II, because it has a just a little more pixels per inch of display, a little bigger screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels. The Sony Xperia 5 II features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 8 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
