Comparison review
Xperia 5 II has a score of 87.2, which is much better than the OnePlus 9's 76 general score. Xperia 5 II is a somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner cellphone than the OnePlus 9, even when they were released with only a few months difference. The OnePlus 9 and Sony Xperia 5 II have quite similar processing units, they have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount.
The Sony Xperia 5 II features a slightly better looking display than OnePlus 9, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2520 resolution and a just a bit greater count of pixels in each inch of screen. Xperia 5 II counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 9, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia 5 II also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
The OnePlus 9 counts with a superior camera than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light images, it also counts with a camera in the back with much more MP, a way better video resolution and a larger sensor which provides a better photo and video quality.
The OnePlus 9 features a bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia 5 II, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.
Sony Xperia 5 II is more expensive than the OnePlus 9, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
