Comparison review

Xperia 5 II has a score of 87.2, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A51's 85.5 overall score. The Xperia 5 II body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy A51, but it is just a little lighter. Sony Xperia 5 II has a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

The Xperia 5 II features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A51, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520px and a little bit higher display pixel density. The Xperia 5 II has slightly more storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia 5 II also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 counts with a battery duration that is just as good as the battery life in Xperia 5 II. The Samsung Galaxy A51 features just a bit better camera than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light images, lower video frame rate and a smaller camera sensor, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A51 also counts with a back camera with much more megapixels.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy A51, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy A51. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy A51, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
