Comparison review

Xperia 5 II is a bit better than Galaxy S10e, with a score of 87.2 against 86.3. The Xperia 5 II construction has the same thickness than Galaxy S10e, but it's just a little heavier. Xperia 5 II has a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S10e, because it has a bit bigger display, a quite better pixel count in each inch in the display and a little bit higher 1080 x 2520 resolution.

The Xperia 5 II has a slightly better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S10e, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Xperia 5 II also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy S10e and Sony Xperia 5 II have very similar processing units, and although the Samsung Galaxy S10e has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.

Sony Xperia 5 II captures just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S10e, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have a same resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia 5 II also counts with a much larger sensor providing a way better image quality and faster video frame rates.

Sony Xperia 5 II counts with greater battery life than Galaxy S10e, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3100mAh.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S10e, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S10e. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Galaxy S10e, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
