Xperia 5 II is much better than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, with a global score of 87.2 against 78.1. Even though Xperia 5 II is a lot newer than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, it's just a little thicker and just a little bit heavier. The Xperia 5 II features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a greater number of cores and 4 GB more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a slightly better screen than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a little bit better pixel density. The Xperia 5 II counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 96 GB more internal memory and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Xperia 5 II counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same camera aperture, the Xperia 5 II also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and better 120 frames per second video frame rates.
