Comparison review

Xperia 5 II has a general score of 87.2, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro's score of 81. Xperia 5 II's design is way lighter and notably thinner than the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, although both were released with only 8 months difference. Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has more RAM.

The Xperia 5 II features a slightly better screen than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher quantity of pixels in each screen inch and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels. The Xperia 5 II captures slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a camera in the back with way less mega pixels resolution, and they both have a F1.7 diafragm aperture, the Xperia 5 II also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a way bigger camera sensor which offers a much higher image and video quality.

Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy XCover Pro, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro features just a little better battery life than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has a 4050mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy XCover Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy XCover Pro. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Sony Xperia 5 II, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy XCover Pro, letting go a couple specifications.
