Xperia 5 II has an overall score of 87.2, which is much better than Xiaomi 12's 78.8 global score. The Xperia 5 II is an older phone than Xiaomi 12, but it's just a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner anyway. The Xiaomi 12 counts with a little more vivid screen than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a quite inferior pixel amount per inch of screen, it also counts with a little bit bigger display.
The Sony Xperia 5 II features a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi 12, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. Sony Xperia 5 II has a much faster CPU than Xiaomi 12. Both have 8 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
Xiaomi 12 counts with just a bit longer battery life than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has a 13 percent bigger battery capacity. The Xiaomi 12 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting images or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a lot higher video definition, a much better 50 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
