Comparison review
The Xperia 5 II is just a bit better than the Xiaomi 12 Pro, with an 87.2 score against 79.6. Xperia 5 II's body is a little thinner and extremely lighter than Xiaomi 12 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released a little bit over a year before. The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a much better display than Xperia 5 II, because it has a higher 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution, a bit bigger screen and a little higher pixels density.
Xperia 5 II has a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi 12 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xperia 5 II also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1000 GB. Xperia 5 II counts with a way better hardware performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro. Both of them have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount.
Xiaomi 12 Pro features a better camera than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking photographs or videos in low-light situations, it also counts with a back camera with much more megapixels, a way better 7680x4320 video quality and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photographs.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia 5 II, because it has a 4600mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
