Xperia 5 II has a score of 87.2, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark's 80.4 global score. The Xperia 5 II design is newer, lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xiaomi Black Shark. The Xiaomi Black Shark and Sony Xperia 5 II count with quite similar CPUs, both have a 8 GB RAM and a Octa-Core CPU.

The Xiaomi Black Shark counts with a bit sharper screen than Xperia 5 II, although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, a just a little worse display pixel density and a bit smaller display. Xperia 5 II features a very superior memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia 5 II also has an external memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB.
