Comparison review
The Xperia 5 II has a general score of 87.2, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 9T's overall score of 82.2. Xperia 5 II is a newer device, and it's also lighter and thinner than the Xiaomi Mi 9T. Xiaomi Mi 9T features a display that's just as good as the Xperia 5 II one, because although the Xiaomi Mi 9T has a little bit lower screen pixel density and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a quite larger screen.
Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9T, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1000 GB. The Xperia 5 II counts with just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 9T, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 5 II also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 9T captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing photos and video in poorly lited environments, a tinier camera sensor taking lower quality videos and photographs and slower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also counts with a camera in the back with a way better 48 mega-pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T features a battery performance that's very similar to the battery lifetime in Xperia 5 II.
