The Sony Xperia 5 II is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, getting an 87.2 score against 82.7. The Sony Xperia 5 II design is newer, lighter and thinner than the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro. Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro features a display that is very similar to the Sony Xperia 5 II one, because although the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has a just a little worse pixels density and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a little bit larger screen.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has a processor that is just as good as Xperia 5 II's CPU, and although the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has 2 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Xperia 5 II has a superior memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Xperia 5 II also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1000 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro captures better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has worse 60 frames per second video frame rate, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos and videos in poorly lited situations and a smaller back camera sensor, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also counts with a back camera with much more mega pixels.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro's battery performance is just as good as the battery lifetime in Xperia 5 II.
