Comparison review
The Xperia 5 II is much better than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, getting a score of 87.2 against 76. Although the Xperia 5 II is a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, it's a bit lighter and a lot newer. Xperia 5 II has a little faster processor than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores.
Xperia 5 II counts with a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a little bit higher pixels number in each inch in the screen, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a little bit larger screen. Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1000 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a little better battery lifetime than Xperia 5 II, because it has a 4070mAh battery size against 4000mAh. Sony Xperia 5 II has a greater camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a much lower 12 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a larger camera aperture.
Xperia 5 II costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
