Comparison review

The Xperia 5 II has an overall score of 87.2, which is better than Xiaomi Poco M3's general score of 78.2. The Xperia 5 II is a somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner phone than the Xiaomi Poco M3, even though they were released with only a couple of months difference. The Xperia 5 II features a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 5 II also has a larger amount of RAM.

The Xperia 5 II features a slightly better screen than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per screen inch and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2520. The Sony Xperia 5 II has a very superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Poco M3, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 64 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Xiaomi Poco M3 features just a bit better camera than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, a smaller sensor giving a lower image quality and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with a way more mega pixels camera in the back.

The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Xperia 5 II, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Poco M3. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Poco M3, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
