The Sony Xperia 5 II is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Poco X2, getting a score of 87.2 against 79.3. Even though Sony Xperia 5 II and Xiaomi Poco X2 were only released 8 months apart, Sony Xperia 5 II is thinner and much lighter. The Xperia 5 II has a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Poco X2, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 5 II also has 2 GB more RAM.
Xperia 5 II features a little bit better display than Xiaomi Poco X2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2520px resolution and a just a bit greater count of pixels in each inch in the display. Xperia 5 II counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Poco X2, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1000 GB.
The Xiaomi Poco X2 features a little longer battery life than Xperia 5 II, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity. Xiaomi Poco X2 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light photography and videos and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and a same size back-facing camera sensor, the Xiaomi Poco X2 also counts with a much better resolution camera.
