The Xperia 5 II has a general score of 87.2, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi 9T's 78.2 general score. Xperia 5 II is a somewhat lighter and thinner phone than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T, even when they were released only a few months apart. Xperia 5 II features a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 5 II also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

Xperia 5 II counts with a little bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better pixel quantity per inch of screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520px. Sony Xperia 5 II features a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity.

The Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a very superior battery performance than Sony Xperia 5 II, because it has a 50 percent larger battery size.
