Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 II is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, getting a general score of 87.2 against 76.6. Although the Sony Xperia 5 II and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 were released with only 5 months difference, the Sony Xperia 5 II is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner. Xperia 5 II features a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 5 II also has more RAM memory.
The Xperia 5 II features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a quite greater pixels number in each display inch. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a little bit better camera than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a tinier sensor taking lower quality videos and photos, a tinier diafragm aperture and slower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution.
The Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1000 GB.
