Xperia 5 III has a general score of 90.5, which is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone 7's overall score of 83.9. The Xperia 5 III is a noticeably lighter and somewhat thinner device than the Asus ZenFone 7, even when both were released with only a couple months difference. Both of these devices come with the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding operating system features.
The Asus ZenFone 7 has a processor that's very similar to Sony Xperia 5 III's processor, and although the Asus ZenFone 7 has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores. Asus ZenFone 7 counts with a slightly better display than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit lower pixels number per inch in the screen, it also counts with a little bit bigger display.
