The Xperia 5 III has a global score of 90.5, which is much better than the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra's 80.9 global score. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Xperia 5 III has 11 version while Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has Android 12 version. Despite of the fact that Xperia 5 III is older than the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, it's construction is somewhat lighter and a bit thinner.

The Xperia 5 III features a very superior processing unit than Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, and although they both have a 8 GB RAM memory, the Xperia 5 III also has more processing cores.
