Comparison review
Xperia 5 III is better than the OnePlus 9, having a 90.5 score against 76. Xperia 5 III is a a bit thinner and lighter cellphone than OnePlus 9, although both of them were only released with a couple of months difference. Both of these phones come with the same Android 11 OS (Operating System). The Xperia 5 III counts with a bit more vivid display than OnePlus 9, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel density and a slightly better 1080 x 2520 resolution.
OnePlus 9 features a processing unit that's very similar to Sony Xperia 5 III's processor, both of them have 8 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores. The Sony Xperia 5 III counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 9, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 128 GB more internal memory.
OnePlus 9 takes better videos and photos than Sony Xperia 5 III, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low-light photos and video, it also counts with a way higher 7680x4320 video quality, a larger sensor taking better quality videos and pictures and a much more mega-pixels back facing camera.
OnePlus 9 and Xperia 5 III feature quite similar battery durations.
