The Xperia 5 III has an overall score of 90.5, which is better than the Galaxy Note5's 80.2 overall score. Xperia 5 III's construction is newer and a little lighter, but also just a little bit thicker than Galaxy Note5. Xperia 5 III features a bit better CPU than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 5 III also has 4 GB more RAM.
The Galaxy Note5 has a little bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia 5 III, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little better pixel number in each inch in the display and a quite better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. Xperia 5 III features a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has 192 GB more internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that supports up to 1 TB.
The Sony Xperia 5 III captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because although it has a camera with a much worse resolution and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor taking lot better quality photographs and videos and a bigger camera aperture.
