Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 III has a general score of 90.5, which is better than Xiaomi 12's 78.8 overall score. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia 5 III has an older 11 version while Xiaomi 12 has Android 12 version. Sony Xperia 5 III is a a little lighter cellphone than Xiaomi 12, but they are equally thin.
Sony Xperia 5 III has a very superior performance than Xiaomi 12. They have 8 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. The Xiaomi 12 has a little sharper screen than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2400px resolution and a little bit lower pixels quantity per display inch, it also counts with a little bigger screen.
Xperia 5 III has a much better memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi 12, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB. Xiaomi 12 counts with a superior camera than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for taking photographs and video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much better video definition, a much more MP back-facing camera and a bigger sensor.
The Xiaomi 12 and Xperia 5 III both have incredibly similar battery performance.
