Comparison review
Sony Xperia 5 III has an overall score of 90.5, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T's score of 78.2. The Sony Xperia 5 III is a somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter phone than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, although both of them were released with only a few months difference. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia 5 III has 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi 9T has Android 10.
Xperia 5 III has a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a quite better 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution. The Xperia 5 III counts with a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB.
Sony Xperia 5 III features a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 5 III also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Sony Xperia 5 III captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a camera with a way worse resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor capturing better quality pictures and videos, a way better (4K) video definition and a bigger aperture for better low light images.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T features better battery life than Sony Xperia 5 III, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 4500mAh.
