Asus ROG Phone 8 is just a bit better than Xperia 5 IV, having a overall score of 79.5 against 73.3. Even being the best device in our current comparison, the Asus ROG Phone 8 body is a lot heavier and a little thicker than the Xperia 5 IV. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much sharper display than Xperia 5 IV, because although it has a little worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a bit larger screen.
Sony Xperia 5 IV features a quite bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a processing unit that is very similar to the Sony Xperia 5 IV one, and although the Asus ROG Phone 8 has a higher amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
