The Huawei Mate 20 is just a bit better than the Xperia 5 IV, getting a 79.5 score against 73.3. Despite being the best phone in this review, Huawei Mate 20's design is just a little bit heavier and just a little thicker than Xperia 5 IV. The Huawei Mate 20 has a brighter display than Sony Xperia 5 IV, because although it has a little bit lower pixels density and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels, it also counts with a bit larger display.
Xperia 5 IV has a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Xperia 5 IV also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The Huawei Mate 20 has a really superior processing power than Xperia 5 IV, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores.
Huawei Mate 20 takes a lot better videos and photos than Xperia 5 IV, although it has a lot tinier sensor taking way worse quality photographs, they both have a camera with a 12 mega pixels. Xperia 5 IV has longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
