Comparison review
The Huawei P30 is better than Sony Xperia 5 IV, getting a general score of 81.7 against 73.3. Huawei P30 is a just a little bit thinner and a little lighter phone than Sony Xperia 5 IV. The Huawei P30 has a little more vivid display than Sony Xperia 5 IV, although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little worse pixel density, they both have a screen of the same size.
The Huawei P30 has a much better performing processing unit than Sony Xperia 5 IV, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Xperia 5 IV features much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P30, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Xperia 5 IV also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
The Huawei P30 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia 5 IV, and although they both have a same size sensor, the Huawei P30 also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels. The Xperia 5 IV has a much better battery performance than Huawei P30, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
