Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is much better than the Xperia 5 IV, getting an 86.4 score against 73.3. Despite being the best we are comparing, Huawei P40 is a a bit heavier and a little bit thicker phone than Xperia 5 IV. Huawei P40 features a slightly better display than Xperia 5 IV, although it has a just a bit worse pixel density and a little worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, they both have a screen of the same size.
Huawei P40 has a very superior processing unit than Xperia 5 IV, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Huawei P40 shoots way better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 5 IV, because it has a camera in the back with a way better resolution and a much bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality.
The Xperia 5 IV counts with a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than Huawei P40, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia 5 IV also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The Xperia 5 IV features better battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has a 32 percent more battery size.
