Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a score of 79, which is slightly better than Sony Xperia 5 IV's general score of 73.3. Even being the best in this review, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a somewhat heavier and just a little thicker phone than the Sony Xperia 5 IV. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a very superior performance than Xperia 5 IV, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 cores.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a bit better display than Xperia 5 IV, because although it has a little inferior amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a bit lower 1080 x 2400px resolution, it also counts with a little bit larger display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a much better camera than Xperia 5 IV, because although it has a tinier sensor taking lower quality videos and images, it also counts with a lot more mega pixels back facing camera.
Sony Xperia 5 IV has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1 TB and 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Xperia 5 IV and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S both feature quite similar battery performance, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a 5020mAh battery size against 5000mAh.
