Comparison review

The Nokia 4.2 is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia E3, with a 66.1 score against 60.2. Nokia 4.2 is a somewhat heavier device than Sony Xperia E3, but both of them are 0.33inches thick. Both devices in this comparison work with Android operating system, but Nokia 4.2 has the newer 10 version and Sony Xperia E3 has Android 4.4, providing you some nice extra features.

The Nokia 4.2 has a little bit better performance than Xperia E3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores. Xperia E3 features a slightly better looking screen than Nokia 4.2, although it has a much smaller display, a way worse resolution of 854 x 480 and a much worse amount of pixels per screen inch.

The Nokia 4.2 captures a lot better videos and photos than Xperia E3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Nokia 4.2 also has a lot better 13 megapixels resolution back facing camera. Nokia 4.2 counts with a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Xperia E3, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 400 GB and more internal memory capacity.

Nokia 4.2 counts with longer battery lifetime than Xperia E3, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2330mAh.

Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, Nokia 4.2 is also a lot cheaper.
