Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 80.7, which is a lot better than the Sony Xperia E3's 60.2 general score. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 3 has a more recent 5.0 version while Sony Xperia E3 has Android 4.4, offering some additional features and a performance increase. Galaxy Note 3's construction has the same thickness than the Sony Xperia E3, but it is somewhat heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a little bit better performance than Xperia E3, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory, a larger number of cores (and faster) and a much better graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a much better looking screen than Xperia E3, because it has a much better 1920 x 1080px resolution, a larger screen and a lot higher pixel density.
