Galaxy J5 is slightly better than the Sony Xperia E4, having a 66 score against 60.2. These phones work with Android OS, but Galaxy J5 has the newer 5.0 version and Sony Xperia E4 has Android 4.4.4. Although the Galaxy J5 and the Sony Xperia E4 were released only a couple of months apart, the Galaxy J5 body is incredibly thinner but just a little bit heavier.
The Galaxy J5 features a little sharper screen than Xperia E4, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Galaxy J5 also has a greater pixel quantity in each display inch and a better resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The Galaxy J5 features a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Xperia E4, and although they both have the same 8 GB internal memory, the Galaxy J5 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
The Xperia E4 has a better performance than Samsung Galaxy J5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processor and a higher number of cores. The Galaxy J5 counts with a lot better camera than Sony Xperia E4, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy J5 also has a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 features just a bit longer battery life than Xperia E4, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy J5 is also by far the cheapest one.
